Why on Earth would anyone ever want to be nude anywhere other than in their shower or bedroom or maybe your gym locker room? It’s awkward enough having to be exposed in front of your doctor, right?! Well, for a LOT of people, that is the exact way the human body in its undressed state is thought about.

Have you ever noticed little kids when the are trying to be taught to wear T shirts and pants, socks and shoes, or even on a hot day and there is cool water nearby in the form of a sprinkler or creek, what always happens? The clothes do not stay on! Kids by nature hate 'em! And what is really interesting is that the adults all laugh and think it's cute and funny when all the little ones are streaking about sans clothes without a care in the world. So what happens when a magic age comes? Let me tell ya how that typically goes. 1. Parents and Adults tell these still innocent minded children, "your body is shameful and you MUST cover it up, now!" 2. The kids either question right away or question in their mind "what's changed? what is WRONG with me all of a sudden?" 3. That youngster continues to grow up being fed all the misinformation from society, movies, music, fashion industry about what the perfect body SHOULD and MUST look like and that YOU must now do whatever it takes to achieve said image. 4. Often health can suffer, depression can set in, even suicidal attempts can and do occur, all because these individuals have been forced fed the idea that the skin they are in, that was just fine and cute and A-Okay for the first few yrs of their life, changed into something horrible and shameful.
Whether you want to admit it or not, we ALL have the same parts underneath! Across the pond in European countries, nude bodies are a much more accepted and normalized aspect of society. There is not this stigma associated nearly as blatantly as here in America that Nude means Lewd and MUST mean sex is involved. Nope. The human body is seen for what it is, a human body, with the same parts as the next guy/gal. Let me ask you this. When you were in school and getting to that age where you Noticed the opposite sex, some of you had seen some things and some had not. What was your real drive and motivation to "get busy" with someone? A lot of it was that burning curiosity to See what Julie or John looked like naked!! Curiosity can be a good thing, BUT it can also lead to trouble. In societies that normalize nudity in communities, the curiosity factor is was less, and so is the desire to act on things like rape just to satisfy those urges.

Before you throw me under the bus and start wanting to have a huge debate or argument over facts and figures, I ask you to just take this blog post as a thought provoking piece for starters, okay? I am all for debate and facts and numbers and data, and down the line, let's do that. The idea of bringing this topic up is to make people think, to get some thought outside of a comfort zone if you will. Now I kinda focused on two quick aspects of why would being nude be a good thing, let me just touch on one more really quickly. It just feels good! Not having sand crammed all in a bathing suit at the beach, being able to feel a warm breeze roll over your skin, having the sensation of the sun's warmth or even the crispness of snow against you, all of you? There is nothing like it. And less laundry, LOL. We as people all tend to do one horrible thing, still, even in these days of a more tolerant society and that is we label people by Looking at them. Seeing how a person dresses, what shoes they are wearing, what shirt, blouse, all of that, tells us, "are they OUR class of people or are they not." Yea, not very inclusive is it? Without the trappings of clothing, what we see is the person. We do not focus on the cover of the book, but the content of its pages.

I'll leave you with this......This whole idea may never be anything you would remotely consider and that is fine, but, for those who do, and for those who understand the joy, freedom and simplicity of such a choice, don't abandon them. They/we are still your friends, family members, co-workers, and nothing has changed. We enjoy all the things that you do, we just like to think we get to enjoy them a little bit more! Love each other, keep spreading peace and happiness and the good Word of real truth.
