Let me tell you something you probably already know and something that you may NOT.
Does this not shock and upset anyone else but me? So, why all this money spent, and why is THAT image the woman that is broadcast as the standard? Let me tell you why. Our filmmakers, our media outlets, our musicians, our actors, the vast majority of our western culture all promote an attitude that cultivates perfection, while not even knowing what perfection really is. Is perfection decided by what our eye sees, by what someone tells us it is, or is it drilled into our brains by what we hear and how we've been brought up? I say it's all the above. Now, let's be totally honest. There is nothing wrong with anyone being healthy, in good shape, active, and striving to be the best person they can be physically. However, mandating that that must be the norm or you are lesser than, not worth as much, should be ostracized, shut out, shamed? No way! For a ton of reasons, not everyone has the opportunity to have trainers, finances, time, health etc. to achieve results that are 100% politically correct in the eyes of Hollywood. Heck, even celebrities can't always meet those standards, They are unrealistic.
THIS is reality!
And it is beautiful and amazing and authentic. Ya know, one thing I can personally attest to about the Nudsim/Naturist mindset, ALL bodies are beautiful. Big people can be healthy, skinny people can be healthy. Do not judge one's healthiness or lack thereof from a lack of a six pack or not enough muscle tone. That is just ignorant. Every person has a different metabolism, a different life force, a different thing that works for them. We must get away from and escape this brainwashing pit and cyclical trap of being told by the world what IS and what ISN'T good and right and becoming. It's nothing more than a means to an end, a psychological play to get our money to line the pockets of clothiers, make up companies, cosmetic surgeons, beauty experts. All the while, we are spending our hard earned money falling for their lies. P.T. Barnum said, "A sucker is born every minute." He made a fortune off of that logic.
I want to share a link with you all that I find pretty darn inspiring. It's the Adipositivity Project. I won't even explain what it is about so that you will need to just go and check it our for yourself. But, within the pages, photographs are some of the most true, inspirational examples of PEOPLE, real people, who have walked away from all this brainwashing bull crap and have discovered themselves and their worth.
In closing,
as a nudist, it is my deepest desire that you each escape these evil, mind bending chains our society has placed upon you. That you can appreciate you for you, clothed or not. That you finally find the freedom and peace of mind knowing that no matter what, at the end of the day, YOU matter. YOU have purpose. YOU are amazing, just the way you are. I've counseled far too many people, friends, colleagues, strangers, who have felt that they were not good enough for many different reasons. That is a hard road to hoe no matter who you are. Be well emotionally, physically, spiritually. Take time out for you, recharge your batteries. There is only one you! And I need you to be around for years to come. Be a boob, but the good kind.

Another amazing piece!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Men and women have an idea how the perfect parter should look like being taught by the society. All comes for lacking acceptance. And when that awakening happens we realize that we are all perfect, equal and beautiful. Thank you for posting!
